The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore

It was great, it will make you ask for the next book, too bad we just have to wait..I love Six, she's very strong, focused and brave, she's a good pair for Four..

I just don't like Four that much, it seems like he never learned a lesson from what happened to Henri, acting stupid and childish, never even considering the others safety just because of his foolish love for Sarah (who betrayed him)

I also like Seven and Ten, they have very great powers and also Nine..

I just felt so bad to what happened to Sam, hopefully they will be able to save him in the next book.

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Fire and Ice #1) by George R.R. Martin
Synopsis from Goodreads

Long ago, in a time forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons out of balance. The cold is returning, and in the frozen wastes to the north of Winterfell, sinister forces are massing beyond the kingdom's protective wall. To the south, the King's powers are failing, and his enemies are emerging from the shadows of the throne. At the center of the conflict lie the Starks of Winterfell, a family as harsh and unyielding as the frozen land they were born to.

Now Lord Eddard Stark is reluctantly summoned to serve as the King's new Hand, an appointment that threatens to sunder not only his family but also the kingdom itself. A heroic fantasy of lords and ladies, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and evildoers who come together in a time of grim omens. The first volume in George Martin's series

One Grave at a Time (Night Huntress #6) by Jeaniene Frost
Synopsis from Goodreads

Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans' voodoo queen just keeps on giving--leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.

Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive. This year, however, a determined Cat and Bones must risk all to send him back to the other side of eternity--forever. But how do you kill a killer who's already long dead?

Secrets of the Demon (Kara Gillian #3) by Diana Rowland
Synopsis from Goodreads

Homicide detective Kara Gillian has a special talent: she can sense the "arcane" in our world, and there's quite a bit of it, even in Beaulac, Louisiana. She's also a summoner of demons, and works on a task force that deals with supernatural crimes. Her partners are attractive and smart FBI agents, but they're not summoners, and they're not telling Kara why they are on this special force with her.

TO make things worse, Kara has pledged herself to one of the most powerful of demons-a Demon Lord-who helped save her partner's life, but now expects things in return. Meanwhile, she's trying to solve a string of murders that are somehow tied together by money, sex, rock music and...mud. But how can she concentrate on the case when she's not even sure who-or what-her partners are?

Private Scandal by Jenna Bayley-Burke

Wasn't expecting to love this book, it was really great and the emotions are so high, I can feel what the characters are feeling.

I can't find something to read since I haven't transferred my new downloaded ebooks to my phone.

I was looking for something to read when I saw this, its been there for a while and being neglected.

Once I started reading it I never stopped until I was able to finish it, slept at around 3 am since I started reading it almost midnight.

A Game of Thrones (A song of Fire and Ice #1)

This is the book for our weekly book discussion.

We will read 6 chapters every week and have a discussion every Sunday.

Right now I'm on the first few chapters, as of now all I can say is that there are a lot of characters and I'm having a hard time remembering who's who.
